An electronic switch is an electronic component or device that can switch an electrical circuit, interrupting the current or diverting it from one conductor to another. The 3 position or 3 in 1, Dual In-Line Package (DIP) SPDT slide switch, also known as the traditional toggle switch, is a set of electrical switches packed in a small housing. This DIP single pole double throw (SPDT) switch allows the operator to choose between connecting to either one of two terminals, ensuring that the switch will remain connected to one or the other, and the two terminals will never be connected. Designed for easy mounting on printed circuit boards, this switch provides various input ranges to electronic devices, allowing for easy control of the input.
