HB100 Miniature Microwave Motion Sensor

An X-Band Bi-Static Doppler transceiver module with built-in Dielectric Resonator Oscillator (DRO) and Microstrip patch antenna array.

• Supply Voltage: 4.75 to 5.25 V
• X-Band Frequency: 10.525 GHz
• Minimum Power Output: 13 dBm EIRP
• PCB Size: 45 x 38 mm
• Height: 8 mm

Top Features:

• Low current consumption (typical 30 mA)
• CW or pulse operation
• Flat profile
• Long detection range (20 m)

This module is ideal for alarms, motion detectors, lighting control, vehicle speed measurement, and automatic doors.

Doppler Principle: Doppler theory is based on time. When radio waves encounter a moving object, the frequency of the reflected wave changes based on the object’s movement.

Note: Please use a low voltage soldering iron and connect it to reliable grounding. This device is sensitive to ESD and may be damaged during soldering. The IF output of the HB100 module is especially sensitive. You can check it for damage using a multimeter in diode mode. The forward voltage drop between IF and GND should be about 0.25 V.

Package Includes:

• 1 x HB100 MICROWAVE DOPPLER RADAR WIRELESS MOTION SENSOR
